- Note: This is an all original, Nazi-proofed 98 Mauser made for the Portugese. The gun is all matching. Comes with original spring-loaded muzzle cover. The bore is lightly frosted with strong lands and grooves. There is deep rust pitting at the stock line on both sides of the action. The front ring bears the complete Portugese crest and 1937 date. Stock is complete and without cracks. Gun is fitted with the original, Pre-War, diamond embossed leather sling, stamped "L&F" on the buckle, with original QD qwivel. The Nazi proofs are strong on barrel, action, and bolt. If you're looking for a real one for your collection, here it is!
