Description:
This is a special order, one of a kind Grulla 12 gauge Pigeon Gun. It is perfect for targets, doves, turkey and waterfowl. Barrels are 28” improved cylinder and modified (.010"/.020") with 3” chambers and mirror bright bores proofed at 1370 bars. The hand file cut top rib is raised, tapered and level with a gold front bead. It is a full sidelock action Model 216 with gold line cocking indicators, side clips, selective ejectors, a manual safety, bushed firing pins, gas escape valves and engine turned barrel flats and water table. The front trigger is articulated, and the trigger guard has a rolled right hand edge. It is hand engraved on a case hardened, Old English Finish action with beautifully executed full coverage rose and scroll engraving.
The beavertail forend and full pistol grip with right hand palm swell buttstock are of highly figured, reddish brown, oil finished European walnut with lots of contrasting figure. Checkering is at 28 lines per inch with a double border. There is an unengraved gold oval and checkered butt and drop points. The drop at comb is 1 ½”, drop at heel is 2 ¼” and the length of pull is 15”. The cast off is around ¼”. Weight is 7 lbs. 10 oz. and it is an exceedingly comfortable gun to shoot.
The fit and finish of this shotgun are outstanding and it is in excellent condition with very few handling marks. It locks up as tight as a vice. Included is the original box.
