Description: This Belgian Made Browning Auto-5 is in excellent 90%-95% condition. Manufactured by FN of Belgium from 1952-1976, the Belgian Made Auto-5's are regarded as some of the best firearms ever produced for Browning. This model is the Magnum Twelve designed primarily with hunters in mind to utilize newer and more powerful shells of that time. This particular shotgun was probably used as someone's upland game/turkey gun. Light handling marks are present on the wood finish here and there as well as a few minor marks on the bluing. Bluing and high gloss finish on wood are still in exceptionally good condition with no rust anywhere on the bluing and no major dings or gouges in the wood. Action is silky smooth and has been properly maintained and lubricated it's entire life, trigger pull is just as good with a very clean pull and crisp break. Internals of this shotgun including the bore are very clean, it does not appear that this gun was fired that often. Pictures best describe exact firearm that you will receive! It was one of the very first successful semi-automatic shotgun designs, and was produced from 1902 until 1998. Designed by John Browning in 1898 and patented in 1900, it was produced continually for almost 100 years and is regarded as one of the most successful auto-loading shotguns of all time. It features a distinctive high rear end, earning it the nickname "Humpback". The top of the action goes straight back on a level with the barrel before cutting down sharply towards the buttstock. The name of the shotgun came from the fact that it is an auto-loader with a capacity of five rounds, four in the magazine and one in the chamber. Shipping to lower 48 only!
