Description:
Colt Single action Army Revolver - Cal. .45 - 4 3/4" Bbl. - SN 150XXX(1893) - all matching. Bore is excellent - bright and shiny with sharp rifling and only a few scattered light spots - action is excellent with 4 clicks and perfect timing and lock-up. Metal is excellent overall with sharp markings and with some very mild oxidation on part of the ejector housing. The finish is pretty well worn - mostly an attractive gray patina with a few splashes of blue showing. The frame has also drifted to a light gray patina with a few spots of darkened case color visible. Grips have excellent fit to metal and show wear but logo and checkering is still visible - left grip has 3 notches. A popular weapon with the old time gunfighters with the 4 3/4" barrel - an all original and unaltered old SAA that has seen some use but is tight and fully functional and in VG + condition that will make a nice addition to an early West collection.
