Description:
This Parker has 30” barrels with 2 3/4” chambers and choke constrictions of .033 right and .036 left. The bore diameters measure .732 right and .731 left. The barrels have been reblued, retain 98% finish have one ivory center and one silver front bead. The ventilated rib is marked PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. TITANIC STEEL. The bores are clean and shiny. The 1 1/2 frame retains 10% original case color. The trigger guard has been reblued and retains 98% finish. It has a replacement single, selective trigger that uses the safety for selection, non-automatic safety and ejectors. The buttstock and forearm appear to have been replaced and are in excellent condition. There is come crazing in the finish on the buttstock. The number 4 in the forend iron serial number has been restamped for reasons unknown. The length of pull is 14 1/2” over a Hawkins recoil pad. Drop at comb: 1 3/8", Drop at heel: 2", weight: 8.35 lbs. Mechanics are excellent.
