Colt Lightning Carbine medium frame in .38-40 caliber. This rifle was smanufactured in 1886. It has a 20 inch octagonal barrel. There is a small crack in the stock at the lower tang and upper tang (old repair). Slide action is hard tos work, but does work. the bore is fair to good with very light pitting but distinct lands and groves. Overall condition is good. No FFl required since this rifle is an antique.
