#91510, Auguste Francotte, Liege - Abercrombie & Fitch, Houston, Texas: A 410 Bore Boxlock Side by Side Game Gun Finished in 1981, Chopper Lump 26" Ejector barrels, .409 .015 & .015" (Full & Full), Original 3" chambers, Double triggers with the front articulated, Splinter forend with an Anson release, Straight hand stock at 14 13/16 x 1 9/16 x 2 1/2" over a full face checkered butt, Slight cast-off for the right hand, Very nice wood with deep black/brown contrast, 5 lbs. 3 oz., 98% coverage of very nice broad floral/scroll with 12 Gold Inlays of Bobwhite Quail, Ruffed Grouse, Woodcock & Aug. Francotte by J. Morai and signed, This piece remains in excellent condition and comes to the hand with great handling abilities, The original barrel blue at 99%, The frame finish remains at 99% The original stock finish at 98%, The checkering at 100%, The bores are excellent plus and remain as new. This piece is totally correct as proved in Liege, Belgium, It remains smack on the face with a lot of bite left and points like a dream relative these great dimensions. This is a very nice 410 Bore Francotte that handles great. Abercrombie & Fitch in Houston either imported or handled this piece in 1981 or 1982.
