Description:
As new top of the line Verney Carron Azur double rifle in the popular 450 3 1/4" NE caliber. It is scroll engaved as shown, and the bulino elephant (signed) on the floorplate is stunning. Top rib fitted with base of Docter Red Dot sight, and the Docter sight with QD mount is included with the rifle. It also comes with nickel plated snap caps and has a fitted leather covered recoil pad and front night sight. Barrels are 25" long. LOP is 14 3/4", Drop at Comb - 1 ½",Drop at Heel - 2 5/16" , Cast off - ¼" , Pitch +4 deg, Weight - 11 pounds.. The rifle has been regulated with Hornday ammunition, and I have included photos of targets shot with my own hand loads. All original paperwork, ABS case and fitted Verney Carron leather case with label is included. Dies, brass and bullets are also available. I have never hunted with this rifle, and it has only been to the range for sighting in and testing loads. It probably has had less than 50 rounds fired through it, and is in 99.9% new condtion. The leather case will be shipped separately from the rifle in the ABS case with paperwork, Docter sight, snap caps etc.
