Description:
This is a rare Colt Single Action in the Rare first transitional serial number block. Only approximately 1100 SAA's were produced with only two visible serial numbers. (Study of Colt SAA, page 168).
This Colt has the frame serial number and backstrap number in the usual visible locations, but the trigger guard number in on the Left flat under the grips.
Gun is overall a good 70% blue and case colors, solid 4 click action, tight lock up. 38/40, 4x3/4. Comes with factory letter, shows shipping April 1, 1920.
