It is a single select trigger. Also is an ejector gun and appears that it was set up for trap with a bit straighter stock than normal. This was someone's baby because on the trigger guard is the name Victor C. Snyder inlaid in gold. Another marking on the bottom on the frame is "Hunter One Trigger" which signifies the single trigger on this LC Smith. Markings on the bbl are "L C Smith Ideal Grade" and the standard "Hunter Arms Company". The Ideal Grade was a nice shotgun with more adornments. This one is in VG shape with 90%+ blue that is thinning slightly in spots. One light spot of corrosion on the left side near the breech. The center rib has both the front bead and small center bead. Nice smooth metal. Receiver and side plates are mostly silver with some case colors showing in protected areas. Buttstock has numerous handling marks and a couple of light dings but is nice fitting to the sidelocks and frame. There is a leather covered Hawkins pad on it. L C Smith did use different types of pads with Hawkin being one of them. Is this factory original? This would be a good user gun. Still has enough condition to be a collectable gun and has enough use to be used some more.
