Description:
This is the Charger for the Paterson Belt Model #3 with flared grips. The Charger has two knurled rings, and the ball inserts are of seetgum wood. The inscription on the center ring reads "Patent Arms M'G Co. Paterson, N.J.-Colts Pt.". The band has two scribe lines above and below the inscription. The finish is high grade gold gilt, of which about 80% remains. The overall condition is excllent, with one seam repair. These are extremely rare.
