SOLD PENDING FUNDS This is an extremely rare (outside of Australia) .22 Hornet rifle. Like our Springfield Armory production of sporting rifles in the 30's, Australia's Lithgow Arsensal found itself with little to do. It was decided to convert Lee Enfiends to .22 Hornets. I am sure they picked that caliber because it would work for both rabbits and Kangaroos. A deal was struck with Slazingers to distribute them. Slazingers in Australia is comparable to Cabelas in the US. It was memorialized in the "Goldfinger" movie with its name clearly shown on the golfball played by Goldfinger.
