Payment Types Accepted: Cashier Check Description: This Colt SAA .45 cal., 4 ¾" barrel, Nickel Plated, 1978 Manufacture with Bob Munden’s patented Custom Coil Mainspring system and simulated Ivory one piece grip. The owner knew Bob Munden and had at least three Colts customized by Munden Enterprises. This Colt was done in June of 1997 (see Munden letter included) at a cost of $500. The hammer pull back is ~4 ¾ lbs. and trigger pull is a crisp 1 3/4 lbs. (this trigger pull is not available from Munden Enterprises today). As evidenced by the photos this Colt is very clean. The owner used it in Cowboy Action shooting and said it was a great shooter. The owner purchased a new 5 ½" barrel ($300 today) and a new cylinder ($305 today) just in case. We were told he purchased this Colt from a cowboy shooter who claimed the gun to be a movie gun originally customized by Thell Reed when he was the armorer for the movie Tombstone (1993). The trigger guard was done to facilitate the Johnny Ringo gun handling sequence in the movie. We contacted Thell Reed and he would neither confirm nor deny this was one of the guns he provided and used in the film. Doskocil blue hard case is included.
