Description:
This is a Winchester pre-64 Model 70 rifle in .30-06. The serial number indicates a manufacture date of 1958. The action has the correct matte blue finish and is Good to Very Good with a little blue wear at the edges and on the bolt handle knob. Bottom metal is Good to Very Good with some finish wear and a few scratches on the floor plate. The barrel has some wear at the muzzle and a few scratches. The bore is bright and shiny. The folding rear sight and front bead on a ramp are present, but the front sight hood is missing. The uncheckered walnut stock is Very Good with a few handling marks and the factory plastic butt plate. The Weaver Classic 400 scope in Weaver style mounts is included in the price of the rifle and will not be removed and the rifle repriced without them.
