Description:
Here is an honest "United States Property" stamped Colt 1911 Military Pistol, manufactured in 1918, at the height of World War One. The gun is all original and has all original parts. The pistol retains about 50% of its original blue finish, with the majority appearing to having flaked off rather than worn off. All screw heads are unmolested and the grips are in fine condition, no cracks or chips, with only some handling dings at the base. The action is tight and functions perfectly. The bore has sharp rifling, very shootable, but there is some light corrosion. The pictures do not do it justice, it actually looks better in person.
