Listing is for one Colt Single Action Army First Gen 1919 chambered in .38spl. Gun shipped in January 1920. Originally chambered in 38-40 w/ 7.5" barrel. Rebarrelled and chambered in the 1930's in .38 special by a qualified gunsmith - I do not believe this was a factory conversion. New barrel is 4.5" and 38 special cylinder. Barrel and cylinder are both Colt factory parts and have not been refinished. Cylinder is star marked and made from the same steel that was used for .357 magnum. Initials on the grips are "MR" and are engraved in inlaid GOLD. I don't know if those are the gunsmith's initials or some other individual. The bore is FLAWLESS. Case color is awesome and almost completely intact. The most substantial wear on the gun is under the frame behind the trigger guard (not pictured). This revolver is beautiful and will make an awesome addition to your collection. I have over 10 more pictures I couldn't fit in the posting. I will send them to you upon request.
