This Merwin Hulbert .38 is in great condition. It has the desirable folding hammer and the 3 1/2" barrel. All parts are original and it functions like new. The bore rifling is strong a 9+ on a scale of 1 to 10. A Merwin Hulbert & Co. Medium Frame DA Pocket Model in .38 S&W centerfire. This 5 shot double action Merwin Hulbert was a very high quality revolver and a serious competitor with Colt, S&W and Remington. This Pocket Model shows 90% bright nickel finished in very nice condition. Its hard rubber grips are in perfect condition. Also included is the original catalog flap holster. Note: the barrel length marked on the belt loop. These revolvers were known for the tight machining tolerance and this one is no exception, very tight and mechanically excellent.
