Pieper Bergman Bayard (Haerens Rustkammer) Model 1910/21 Caliber 9mm Bayard, Serial Number 18XX. This is an exceptional example of a limited production Danish military firearm. This gun was built under license from the Belgian company Pieper, Bergmann, Bayard at the Haerens Arsenal for the Danish Army. The total production was only several thousand. The gun is in outstanding condition. Retaining at least 97-98% of the original factory blue. The bulk of the loss is contained to sharp edge silvering. There is no muzzle wear and no graying of the gripstraps. There are no pits or rust anywhere. All numbers match and including the magazine. The frame and barrel have the Danish Crown/24 stamp. The right rear of the slide is stamped with the Danish military serial number 6666. The scarce hardwood grips seem to retain about 98% of the original lacquer. The only flaw in the gun is two very small lightly scratched initials in the right grip panel. The bolt face and feed ramp show no use. The bore is as pristine as can be. The rifling is razor sharp and mirror bright. Also showing no wear. This is a really scarce military gun in just beautiful condition.....$3495.
