Description:
Serial #6K30520, .357 Magnum, 2 1/2” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome revolver that retains practically all of an added blue finish with full coverage floral scrollwork, New York-style engraving that has an American Eagle with “E PLURIBUS UNUM” riband motif on the left side of the frame, and a wolf's head on the right. The artist's signature is present along the underside of the barrel shroud. The hammer and trigger retain about 90% of their original color case-hardening with silvering along the edges, most noticeably on the sides of the hammer spur. The revolver is outfitted with custom two-piece, finger-grooved, rosewood grips that are in excellent condition with almost no handling marks or blemishes. The lock-up is tight and the revolver is in excellent condition overall. This is a wonderful piece of work by one of America's great master engravers, and would make an excellent addition to any collection of engraved guns. FFL or C&R
