Description:
This two piece half split marbled box contains one round with S&W 38 headstamp and struck primer. Box remains in excellent condition with wear on corners. Top label shows wrinkling and remains quite clean with a great cut of a Smith & Wesson 38 single action second model revolver(Model 2, second issue) partly open and just starting to eject brass. These were built from 1877 to 1891. Not much information is available for this manufacturer, even the date started is not available. An interesting German box with Smith & Wesson callout on label.
