SOLD...REDUCED PRICE !!! Antique Smith & Wesson 1 1/2 2nd model With some nice blue remaining. Here is a well above average little Smith & Wesson 1 1/2 in .32 RF. Has an excellent tight fit at the hinge with NO wobble. Most all you will see on this model have very worn hinge that is loose... S/N 68705. All matching assembly numbers. This one is in blue and is a little harder to find than the more common nickel finished ones. Has the standard 3 1/2" barrel. The frame has about 70% slightly thinning blue on the right side. The left side of the frame has about 35%. The front and rear grips straps have turned to a medium gray patina. The cylinder is a blue to brown patina with no bright blue remaining. The barrel still has some bright blue in the upper barrel flutes on both sides and a little in the lower protected areas aroung the latch. The balance of the barrel is a medium gray brown patina. The hammer still shows bright and vivid case colors on the right side and the rear. The left side of the hammer has started to fade but a little case color is visible.. The gun has never been cleaned on or messed with. There is NO pitting on the gun anywhere. The mechenaics are excellent. It indexes and locks up perfectly. NO barrel wobble at the hinge at all and rock solid fit at the barrel to frame latch also. This is a very crisp and tight little gun. The markings are excellent as well. All the screws and takedown pins look untouch. The grips are near excellent with NO cracks or chips and a perfect factory fit and are numbered to the gun. Shows a couple light handling dings and mars but still retaining about 85% or more original varnish. The bore is very fine near excellent mostly bright with very strong and deep rifling with some very small specks of roughness. NO piiting and would clean to excellent I am sure. The chambers are very fine also with just a little surface crud in one or two but are bright also. Would clean to excellent as well. Just a well above average Smith & Wesson 1 1/2 with quite a bit of blue and case colors remaining. The gun shows absolutely NO abuse and was taken care of very well in it's life time. Much better than the no finish ones with wobbly hinges that you see all the time and this one is priced reasonable. $15 insured shipping. Call 765-728-8049 with any questions or more photos.
