Description:
Serial #9637Y3, 8mm Mauser, 23 1/4" barrel with a very good bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves. This is a pre-occupation rifle with Czech lion receiver crest that retains about 70-75% of the original blue with the balance of the metal having faded to a mild pewter gray patina, brightest along the exposed edges and projections. The bolt has been renumbered to match and has some light brown freckling along its length while the walnut stock and handguard have numerous small handling marks and blemishes throughout. There is a small import stamp near the muzzle and the rifle is equipped with both an original cleaning rod and front sight protector. This is a very nice looking VZ.24 and would make a nice addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
