Marketed as the "Westerner" this variation of the Winchester Model 70 was introduced in 1960 and only made for four years. The .264 Winchester Magnum is known for being an outstanding long range caliber suitable for all medium to large game. This rifle has been hunted with but is in nice "well cared for" condition. This stock has been lengthened to 13 1/2 inches by adding a Pachmayewr recoil pad. Pre-64 Winchester Model 70's in .264 Winchester Magnum are hard to come by.
