Description:
This is a Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight rifle in .308 Winchester. The serial number indicates 1954 as the manufacture date. The matte finished action is in Very Good condition with some wear on the bolt knob. Bottom metal is Very Good with a few light scratches on the floorplate and minor wear on the front action screw. The 22 inch barrel is Very Good with some blue wear at the muzzle and a shiny bore. The checkered walnut stock is Very Good with minor handling evident, and it has the checkered metal butt plate. The folding rear leaf sight and hooded front bead sight on a ramp are present as is a Lyman Alaskan All Weather 2 1/2 power scope in a Pachmayr folding side mount. The scope and mount are included in the price of the rifle and will not be removed and the rifle repriced without them.
