Here is an honest "United States Property" stamped Colt 1911 Military Pistol, manufactured in 1918, at the height of World War One. The gun is all original and has all original parts. The pistol retains about 40% of its original blue finish, with the majority appearing to having flaked off rather than worn off. The grips are in fine condition, no cracks or chips, with only some wear at the base of the right grip. The action is tight and functions perfectly. The bore is bright and it has sharp rifling. The pictures do not do it justice, it actually looks better in person. Includes a 1914 dated (stamped Rock Island Arsenal 1914) Cavalry Holster, which is in fine condition.
