Here is a nice project rifle for someone.Its partially dismantled but all there and numbers match.Its a .22 and bore is in poor condition. There is a large heavy rivet going through both sides of stock, to strengthen it.The left side of stock is fine and the right has some cracks. Original firing pin tip is off and a new replacement pin fits fine. The tip will have to be shaped.The V-spring broke by hole and a washer should hold it down fine.Frank De Hass digest book on Single Shot RIFLES & ACTIONS has info on Hopkins & Allen.The Merwin & Hulbert markings puts this rifle in the antique era.These are nice sturdy rifles. Also, the forend is nott original but close and easily fitted. Sold as is and no return. SOLD
