Description:
A beautifully made highly decorated percussion pistol made by RAMBOTTE ( that name appears on he Lock). It has a .62 caliber 13 inch round barrel with an overall length of 20 inches. The action is very strong and the hammer holds on full and half cock. There are 3 proof marks on  the barrel consisting of a "PM" in gold under a Crown. The full  stock is highly decorated with inlaid silver wire, a coat of arms type plaque on the top of the grip, a fancy raised design on the bottom  of the butt,  a fancy trigger guard, and fancy raised silver or steel parts everywhere.  The front 7 inches of the barrel  are completely covered in very decorative metal. The metal ramrod is false, merely decorative. This appears to have been a pistol carried on horseback and to avoid losing the ramrod , the real one would have been secured around the riders neck. There is also some engraving on the barrel top. This gun may have been made in Morocco in the mid 1800's.

This is an antique so no FFL is required. It may be sent to a new proud owner
