Description:
***PENDING*** Marlin Model 37 slide action takedown rifle in .22 cal. w/24" barrel, a safe queen in superb minty original condition;. The Model 37 was mfg'd by Marlin between 1913-16. The bluing is in mint condition showing only very minor handling marks with wear exhibited only on the slide action.
The bore condition is as crisp as the outside showing that this rifle was hardly used. The wood also retains its original finish exhibiting only minor handling marks. The screws are mostly perfect but there is evidence that the takedown screw was loosened with something other than a coin that the screw slot it was designed for. It is scarce enough to see a Model 37, let alone in this condition.
