Offered for your consideration is this vintage Marlin 1893 in the ever popular 38-55 caliber. The octagon barrel is 26 inches in length, the bore is excellent, sharp and shiny. I rate it a 9+ on a 1 to 10 scale. The barrel and magazine retain 80% coverage of nice even plum blue. The receiver is mechanically excellent and has a graduated tang mounted sight. Feeds, chambers and ejects smoothly. The buttstock and forearm are solid and tight and made of nicely grained black walnut that is free of cracks, chips, dents and extra holes. Serial number is 418666. This Marlin was well cared for and will be a fine shooter and great hunting rifle! $35.00 insured shipping to your C&R or FFL.
