Description:
S# 1601,8 x 58 Rmm, 31 5/8 inch barrel, bright excellent bore. This rifle was built at Carl Gustafs in 1869 and was converted to 8 x 58 R in 1893 and was converted to a sporter with cut down forend, replaced front sight and added sling ring sometime later. Rifle remains in excellent condition with 85% barrel blue and 80% case colors on action. Rear tang and stock comb have added holes for aperture sights. Wood has been nicely refinished with stock disk hole filled. Stock shows scattered light dings and scratches. Rifle comes with ten cases formed from 45-70 brass.
