Description:
S# 34, .500 revolver, 5 1/2 inch barrel, good bore with strong rifling and with light erosion throughout. This revolver has pre 1898 Belgian proofs and remains in very good condition with a light patina developing on the cleaned metal surfaces that show light engraving and scattered areas of light pitting. The Gutta Percha grips show a griffon and elephant on each side with floral design. Right side has a small crack near top and is quite worn. Left side shows less wear and sun fading. Action works well, front trigger guard screw and lanyard loop are missing. An interesting large bore revolver.
