10ga.hammer gun by W.Richards.This classic hammer gun has 315/8" damascus barrels with excellent wall thickness.The bores are bright and free of rust,dents,or pits.The sculpted action is game scene engraved featuring pheasants.The barrels are tight and on face and lock up securely to the action.the wood is sound with no cracks or damage.Built on a large frame,this gun weighs 10-0 but balances so well that it feels lighter.Other features are rebounding hammers,double triggers,extractors,a pistol grip stock,and steel grip cap.A hard to find gun in this condition.Very shootable with reasonable loads.Built prior to 1898,so it is classified as an antiquees with a leather leg-o-mutton case.
