Baby Mauser Custom in 222 Remington Caliber. Overall length of gun is 38", Barrel is 21" and the 98 Action is 7&1/4". Been told this may be a "K" Action. I do not have much knowledge on variations of 98 Mauser Actions. Sorry. Full Mannlicher Stock. Sitting on top of this gun is a 330 "Patent Pending" Weaver Scope that I have been offered stupid money for. Do not want to break up the package. Very professionally done. Nothing extraordinary, but a nicely put together little varmint rifle. Appears to be an early 52 Sporter Front Sight, Buttplate and possibly pistol grip cap. Was provided with a spent casing that was shot through the gun. Excellent Bore. Previous owner said the gun shot very well. Not asking anywhere near what the previous owner was asking. Couldn't built the gun today for twice what I am asking. Nice addition to the Mauser Collectors gun room. Serial number ap[ears to be 1186. Located on front of trigger guard assembly ahead of the floorplate. Number on floorplate is 86 and either a 80 or 08 on the bolt handle. What appears to be two Crown "N" proofs ahead of serial number. FFL or C&R required. Thanks for Looking.
