Description:
This Sidelock is in absolutely fantastic condition, and is a very rare piece. The metal is in great condition throughout the gun and doesn't have much handling wear. On the left barrel, there are a couple of miniscule marks above the receiver and one above the fore end. These marks are about the size of a pin head. The right barrel has a couple of marks similar in size, above the receiver. There is another mark about the same size about 2" in front of the fore end as well. There is also a mark just over an inch away from the muzzle. The receiver is in excellent condition, but has one spot on the right side that has the early stages of speckling. The bottom of the receiver also has some similar spots, near the trigger guard. The stock is in excellent condition but has a few handling marks. The right side of the stock has a couple of scratches about halfway down the stock near the top. The left side of the stovck has one mark just to the right of the checkering about halfway up the stock, and one inside the checkering near the bottom. The bores appear to have minor amounts of wear, but still appear to be smooth, bright, and shiny.
