Springfield Armory(National Armory) 1864 Second Allen .50-70 32” barrel- This rifle is an antique Springfield Armory 1864 Second Allen converted to .50-70 from original percussion designed. The side plate is dated 1864 and the trapdoor breech is dated 1866. The rifle has a dark bore with slight pitting. The rear sight is missing.
