#3755 Colt Model 1883 Double Barrel 12 Gauge Shotgun
This is a very nice antique Colt Model 1883 12 gauge double with 30” damascus barrels. The bore diameter is .703 for both barrels. Length of pull is 1 ½” at the comb and 2 5/8” at the heel. The bore and mechanical function is excellent, crisp and tight and the lock up is crisp and tight. It still has over 40% brown and fading case colors. All matching serial numbers 7149. The checkering is still sharp and crisp and the wood is not chipped, cracked or scratched. The butt plate has a small chip on the heel of the toe.
