Offered for your consideration is this fine, near new condition Marlin Model 1936 1st Variation in 30-30. The case colors on the receiver are near perfect, bright and sharp coverage with just a trace of silvering on the bottom forward receiver. The lever retains full case colors also. The hammer and trigger are blue. The barrel is 20 inch carbine with 98% blue. Bore is new, bright and sharp. The buttstock and forearm are solid and tight, no cracks, chips or extra holes. There are scattered light handling marks but nothing I would call significant. Varnish is factory at 95%. The buttplate isn't cracked or chipped. The 1936 was only made for one year and condition wise this one is very close to the way it left the Marlin factory! The case colors actually look much sharper in hand than the photos show.
