Description:
Custom Winchester Model 70 Bench Rifle built by famous shooter and gun maker Creighton Audette in 308 Caliber. Built on Action # 288xxx (1954 Vintage). 26" Hart Stainless Bull Barrel, Redfield International Sights, Target Scope Blocks and Stripper Clip Adapter for Nato 308 Caliber (300 Meter and 1000 Yard Matches). Told this gun was used in one of the previous Olympics but not sure in which discipline. Stock is traditional Audette Target with Morgan Style adjustable butt, roll-over cheek piece relieved for bolt clearance during a rapid fire discipline, sling rail, and stipled palm swell with relief for trigger hand stability. A true Work of Art by a Master shooter and Craftsman. "As New" Condition even though this gun was built many years ago. FFL or C&R Required. Thanks for Looking.
