Description:
NOT the average ill-thought-out "sporter" we usually encounter. This is a tasteful, well balanced piece that grows on you the more you look at it! Notice the buttstock has been leather wrapped and a nice job done of it! Patina on the leather shows its been there a LONG time. There's a recoil pad under there, and its still got some give to it. Pull is just under 14" which should make this a JOY to shoot! The barrel is dated 1-18 and has an excellent bore and rifling from front to back. Front sight blade is a Marbles Sheard #11 and the rear is a beautiful long tang Lyman 48. We could have made more by parting it out, but we didn't have the heart to just dismantle it...its a piece of history.
