This Webley bull dog is shown on page 138 of "Webley Solid Frame Revolvers Nos 1, 11/2,2, Bulldogs and Pugs" by Black, Ficken,& Michaels.It is also Police marked on front of frame.It works fine in double and single action and lock-up is reasonably good , quite decent for a gun this old..Stocks are worn but decent and no cracks. The chambers and bore are nice. .All screws are quite nice.Finish is traces of blue mixed withh clean metal wear ( see photos ). I sell this antique revolver for display and collecting purposes. If intending to shoot, one should have checked out by gunsmith for safety and proper load.
