Payment Types Accepted: checks, cashiers/bank check, money order Description: CLASSIC VERY EARLY BISLEY .44-40 4 3/4" IN THE 182XXX SERIAL RANGE, POSSIBLY ANTIQUE 1898 PRODUCTION OR 1899 PRODUCTION, This one might letter as an antique 1898 production as the books show a serial number range of 182000 as the arbitrary cut off for the end of 1898- this example is several hundred higher, overall great unmessed with appearance with the overall revolver a nice dark plum/brown patina, still shows a little aged and plum/blue in the protected areas and on the cylinder, good sharp edges, exc. markings including the left side of the barrel "(Bisley Model" over "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" and correct two line barrel address, exc. screws and cylinder pin (!), tight action, matching numbers, exc. bore, shows a little muzzle wear from holster carry on the left side, grips are worn and fit perfectly but are not numbered to the gun, hard to find caliber and in this untouched attic condition, this one had a great deal of old west appeal and came out of Arizona.
