With the 26 inch round barrel, that makes this one of only 873 guns in this configuration. Interestingly, most of these rifles were fitted with 22-inch round barrels rather than the 26-inch length recommended by Winchester for giving the best results with this caliber. Winchester also recommended a short magazine to give a lighter and more balanced gun. So this should be a good performing rifle! This is a professionally restored Winchester in a desirable caliber with mint bore that letters in this configuration with shotgun butt, round barrel, 1/2 mag, and plain trigger.
