Description:
This is the later version that had the 22" lighter weight bbl. Cal 45-70. Full mag tube. Gun has been refinished. Receiver looks pretty good. Bbl has the plum color that some bluing turns to. Also the front is a later sight, blank in the rear dovetail and a Lyman receiver sight. I'm not quite sure if the wood has been refinished or not. It definitely has not been sanded and looks like the orig finish or maybe a very light coat put on years ago. It looks good. There is enough wear that it could possibly be orig. Very nice case colors on the hammer and good case colors on the lever. One very good thing about this rifle is the bore- it's great. This would be a very good vintage hunting rifle.
