Quality Consignments Wanted! This pistol was produced in 1948. The serial number is K 72816. It is a five screw frame pistol with the pinned barrel. The pistol is fitted with a 6 inch barrel. This S & W show almost no use or being shot. The original grips are serial numbered to this pistol. The grips are in minty condition. The color cased hammer and trigger retain 99% of their vivid finish. The bluing also retain 99% of the original finish. There is a slight drag line between the stops. The original box is in very good condition with no damage. There is some scuff marks around the box. The label is clear and intact. The serial number is intact on the box bottom. The original cleaning tools are present. This is a very well preserved K 22 that has not seen much use. To find a early S & W 22 in this condition is a real find! This was a very popular model 22 and most of the pistols you see today are well used. Search for hlvfineguns on google.
