Description:
Built in 1874 for Charles hope (rovenance: copy of factory ledger page), has not been worked on by Turnbull Mfg. Company. Dovetailed steel barrels with full length flat file cut ribs. Barrels engraved "John Dickson & Son" and "63 Princes Street. Edinburgh on tops. Bottoms stamped with London proofs and use numbers. 1633 and 1644.
Old embossed leather case with shaped brass corners, lined with red fabric and paper Dickson label. Case with lift-ot tray includes accoutrements (ebony handle striker key, rosewood handle turnscrew, wad punch, Sykes patent leather bodied German Silver flask etc.
