Colt 1851 Navy Martially Marked Third Model 15-121
This is a very attractive Colt 1851 Navy Third Model with a small trigger guard within serial # range # 50205. Martially marked with U.S. below Colts Patent on frame. The action on this pistol works properly and locks up tight. All number match, including the wedge and the rammer. The grips are fine. The metal on frame and barrel and hammer is very clean and the numbers and the letters are clear and easy to read. The cylinder has some dings and a little corrosion, 40% cylinder scene. The bore has some of the rifling and is dirty with a little corrosion in the bore; this is a clean, attractive original pistol for the collector or shooter (it should be checked by a gunsmith before shooting).
