Up for sale we have a rare Jenks Mule eared carbine. This carbine was made in 1846 and is in Fantastic shape. It is USN marked and was produced by N. P. Ames Company of Springfield, Massachusetts is one of only 4,250 made between 1843 and 1846. The cartouche is on the stock the brass furniture has turned a mellow patina. The 54 cal bore is very good to better. This is an unmolested 169 year old gun. It would make a great addition to any collection. Don't miss out on the chance to own this piece of history
