HIGH FACTORY CONDITION, 28" BARRELS

Sterlingworth guns in 20ga. are seen often enough. Anybody who has watched the market realizes the value has been discovered on the Fox Sterlingworth small bores, the price has gone up significantly in the last few years, with the nice Fox 20ga. guns being bought up, thereby reducing the available guns on the market. This Philly gun, sn264339 built in 1933 is NOT one of the normal Fox Sterlingworth guns. First, it has OVER 98% FACTORY BARREL BLUE, 85% VIVID FACTORY CASE COLOR, UNTOUCHED FACTORY WOOD FINISH, MOST DESIRABLE 28" BARRELS, AND PERFECT SCREWS. This is a very nice gun for field and clays, weighing just 6lbs. and balanced 1/8" ahead of the hinge pin. ADD TO THE ABOVE THAT THE STOCK DIMENSIONS ARE 2 3/4" DROP AT HEEL, 1 9/16" DROP AT COMB, 14" LOP TO THE FACTORY BUTT PLATE, and you have a very desirable Sterlingworth 20ga. The gun is very attractive, with all PHILLY features, including the forend wood, action tight with lever way right of center, perfect mechanics, a gun just ready for another few generations of use. THIS IS A VINTAGE FIREARMS PREMIUM FIREARM, meaning we have disassembled the action, cleaned all parts in the Ultrasonic cleaner, inspected all parts for proper fit and function, and then lubricated properly before re-assembly. The gun now carries a 90 DAY MECHANICAL WARRANTY and is ready for another generation of use. It has been years since I have seen a Fox 20ga. Sterlingworth with this nice of condition and unmolested state. Take a close look and you will see a very special little Fox...light as a feather, perfectly balanced, and in top condition with good shooting dimensions. These guns are just going to go up in value each year, as they are no longer being made and highly desirable little shooting machines. Thanks for looking.
