Description:
Serial #8121, 12 Ga., 30” barrels with some mild spots of freckling visible along both tubes. This shotgun retains 80-85% of the original blue along the barrel with some dark spots of freckling at the muzzles and in spots along their length. There is some further fading along the bottom of the left barrel at the breech. The frame has a mostly dark gray and pale brown patina, but does have some bright color case-hardening remaining, most noticeably on the rear of the lockplates. The shotgun has a walnut splinter style forend and a rounded, pistol gripped buttstock with black hard rubber buttplate. There is a long chip at the tip of the forend with scattered handling marks and surface blemishes on the balance of the wood. The length of pull measures 14” with drops of 2” and 3 1/8” respectively, and the gun is mechanically sound with the barrels slightly off-face. This is an attractive shotgun and is in good plus condition overall. FFL or C&R
