Army Navy .280 Flanged Nitro Ejector Double Rifle No. 45928. On a Webley action. The 25" Chopper Lump barrels have very good bores with no pitting. The great features include - quarter rib with 1 standing and 4 folding platnium line sights to 500 yards, flip up night sight with hood,and bushed strikers. Pull 14 1/2" with silvers pad, large sling eyes, extended trigger gaurd to steel grip cap, under bites, spade head rib extension with additional bite. This rifle is supplied with original case. The canvas and leather, with brass corners, is in great solid condition. The inside is in excellent condition with some discoloration of outside canvas. The rifle is delivered with a 20 piece box of new brass and 7 pieces of fired Kynoch along with the original Army Navy ledger pages. The .280 was delivered August 1911 to THE RAJ OF SHAHARPARA. The ledger page shows 22 rifle entries. The delivery price of 4 of theses 22 rifles were slightly more than the .280 Double. 17 rifles ( inluding 256 NE, 400NE, 450 NE, 470NE, 500NE Ejector Rifles ) were delivered at a LOWER prices. One was substantialy more, a Best Grade Holland 500NE Ejector. I only point this out to indicate THIS IS A HIGH GRADE EJECTOR RIFLE WITH MANY OPTIONS IN WONDERFUL CONDITION. LAYAWAY O.K.
